"Participating in The Opportunity Network is a great experience for anyone. It's a great opportunity to learn about the business world. The Opportunity Network is truly a hands-on experience. The program has changed my plans for the future - I learned a lot, and now I have many new things to think about!
-- Pamela Carrington, student

The Opportunity Network was founded in 2002 by Brian Weinstein and Jessica Pliska, who met as undergraduates at Yale College and wanted to find a way to leverage for social good the networks afforded to them. The way Brian and Jessica grew the organization is testament in itself to the power of networks: they tapped into their own in order to establish a strong network of New York professionals to help grow the organization—classroom career speakers, internship hosts, networking leaders, college applications tutors, donors, partners, advisors, and friends.
