JESSICA PLISKA
Founder and Executive Director
The Opportunity Network

Jessica is Founder and Executive Director of The Opportunity Network and sits on the organization's board of directors.

Prior to The Opportunity Network, Jessica was U.S. Director of Marketing for Mercer Delta Consulting, advisors to CEOs on organizational change, and part of Marsh & McLennan Companies. During her five years at Mercer Delta, she had responsibility for marketing and communications, developing strategic programs to drive brand recognition and revenue. Before that, Jessica was an account supervisor at Edelman Worldwide, the largest independent public relations firm, where she managed PR programs for a wide range of corporate clients.

Before founding The Opportunity Network in 2002 with Brian Weinstein, Jessica worked with non-profit organizations that include The "I Have a Dream" Foundation, Prep for Prep, God's Love We Deliver, The New York City Ballet and a variety of community organizations focused on economic development in inner city neighborhoods.

Jessica graduated from Yale University with a B.A. in political science. She sits on the board of Metro International, a non-profit organization creating learning and cultural opportunities for international scholars in New York City.
